GO Body Products

GO Body Products served as a tool that enabled us to raise funding for overseas missions and have an outlet for sharing the Gospel in our local area.
We took our business to the local farmer's market every Saturday. This was a gateway for discussion and service to local residents and transients from many other locations.
The downtown mall was a great area to meet people and chat about skin products and the local economy. We'd even talk occasionally about politics! But the discussions would always turn to how God is working in our town and our missions.
We invested in a canopy, local licensing, and other odds and ends, just to be able to be involved with others and build relationships!
Product displays were always enhanced with messages. What kind of a business doesn't ordinarily do that? Props included tools like you see here and a banner showing photos from various missions we've supported.
It was actually fun to be in the marketplace! There was plenty of work. But the rewards were amazing! It often seemed like we were hardly concerned whether we sold much or not. God would provide. And He did!
We did support a bazaar at an El Paso church too. I was amazed at how many conversations this led to regarding missions and the role of every believer.

We did a raffle one time that was amazing. We promoted the local farmer's market by requesting contributions from the vendors and we created a gift basket that was raffled. We actually held the drawing at an event at the convention center. This gave so much visibility to how God uses missions.
